American serial killer and cannibal Joe Metheny aka “The Cannibal” claimed to have killed up to 10 female sex workers in Baltimore, Maryland during the 1990’s. Joe dismembered his victims’ bodies, saved pieces of their meat in his freezer, and discarded the rest of their remains in a nearby river or buried them. The 41-year-old serial killer who had an addiction to drugs and alcohol, admitted to eating the remains of some of his victims, combining the human meat with pork and beef. This meaty recipe wasn't one that he consumed all on his own though. Running a roadside BBQ stand, the human meat he saved in his freezer was turned into burgers and other assorted sandwiches that he sold to unsuspecting customers. After his arrest in 1996, due to one of his victims’ being able to escape, Joe Metheny stated that he would never apologize for the crimes he committed and that he actually enjoyed murdering each of his victims. So, was there a reason behind Joe Metheny’s sick and twisted acts or was he simply born with a sinister mind.
